Vision, Mission, & Values
How we define:
Serve God – The life of a Christ follower is defined and developed through worship of God (Matt. 22:37 – 38). The expression of service (worship) takes on various forms as the believer matures but should always include corporate worship, prayer, regular devotions, and stewardship.
Serve Family – The life of the Christ follower should grow in understanding and purpose within the family. The family is the first of all institutions created by God himself (Gen. 2:18). Brokenness entered the family through sin (Gen. 3) causing separation, division, and insecurity. When we become Christ followers, we are adopted into God’s family with a Heavenly Father (Matt. 6: 32; Rom. 8:12-25). God uses the redemptive family (the Church) to restore relationships.
Serve Community – The life of the Christ follower should be active in some form of ministry. God uses ministry to expand His kingdom and bring relief to the suffering (Luke 4:18 – 19).
